Work on building our very own Karvenheim table has been continuing apace, and we’ve very nearly finished printing and painting everything in the core collection. That’s every modular building, every 28mm scale dwarf warrior and every piece of scatter furniture that you’ll be able to pledge for when the Kickstarter campaign launches on Saturday 26th March!
The whole Dragon’s Forge team has pulled together to try and get everything painted before launch day, and it’s been a feat worthy of the mightiest dwarf adventuring party. The Grand Bhazilika alone could easily have been the work of months, but by some strange sorcery ours is complete!
Those of you with the eagle-eyes of a Boombardier Gunner will have noticed that there’s one set of terrain pieces missing from our table – Karvenheim’s gates and walls. We didn’t quite have time to paint these up for today’s article, but they’re on the way and we’ll take some more shots of these later. Any excuse to keep showing off this cool collection!
We know that it’s not always easy to imagine what a print will look like on the tabletop or how a miniature will feel in your games from renders alone, so it was really important to us to get this table built and painted. We hope you like the results! By the way, this campaign isn’t just for those of you with 3D printers – you’ll be able to order quality 3D prints just like those you see here, shipped anywhere in the world.
